Agean Cymbals proudly announces the newest addition to its groundbreaking Low Noise lineup: Dark R Low Noise Cymbals.

Designed for drummers who demand authentic cymbal feel and musicality at reduced volume levels, the new Dark R series combines the dark, aggressive visual character of the Beast series with the advanced perforated construction of Agean’s renowned Low Noise concept.

The result is a cymbal series that looks powerful, feels natural, and performs with remarkably low volume without sacrificing the soul of real Turkish cymbals.

Unlike many low volume cymbals on the market, Dark R cymbals are not simplified or mass-produced alternatives. Every cymbal is handcrafted from genuine B20 bronze using the exact same traditional Turkish cymbal-making process as our regular professional cymbals.

The difference comes only after the cymbal is fully completed.

Each cymbal is then individually perforated with more than 2,000 precision-cut holes depending on the size, transforming a full professional cymbal into an incredibly responsive low volume instrument while preserving natural stick feel, dynamic response, and musical character.

This is where true tradition meets modern sound.

Dark R is ideal for home practice sessions, apartments and shared living spaces, small gigs and intimate venues, coffee houses and little bars, low volume rehearsals, acoustic performances, and educational environments.
